Airships: North Pole Quest

And now for something completely different... a board game.

The long-awaited Kickstarter project "Airships: North Pole Quest" finally arrived. I painted the monochrome dark gray models of the ships and airships (1/2000 scale) and applied the decals that came with them. I hope that the gameplay can keep up with the atmospheric equipment.

 

Star Wars Legion: Rebel Fleet Troopers - Flottentruppler

 

Michi hat eine Gruppe Flottentruppler bemalt. Das sind genau die, die man 1978 in der ersten Szene von Episode IV und in der letzten von Rogue One gesehen hat.

 

Michi painted a squad of fleet troopers. These are exactly those which were seen in the first scene of A NEW HOPE and the last scene of ROGUE ONE.

 

 

Star Wars Legion: Rebel Commandos

 

It was January 10th in 2021 when Michi posted his first painted miniatures last year. Those were rebels for Star Wars Legion. The last miniatures in December 2021 were also of that kind and Michi decided that 2022 should commence just alike.

Am 10. Januar 2021 waren es Rebellen für Star Wars Legion, die Michi als erste Figuren im neuen Jahr bemalt hatte. Die letzten im Dezember 2021 waren wieder welche. Das sollte 2022 nicht anders sein...

A review of Michi's deeds in 2021 showed 169 painted items of which 83 were comminssions and only 86 were for himself. This is a quite unfavorable ratio, because it means the least gaming pieces ever for Michi and more than ever for somebody else. This will not happen again.

Im Rückblick zeigt sich, dass Michi in 2021 insgesamt 169 Figuren bemalt hat, von denen 83 Auftragsarbeiten waren und nur 86 für ihn selbst. Das ist ein schlechtes Verhältnis, denn es sind die wenigsten jemals in einem Jahr für den eigenen Spieltisch und die meisten für jemand anderes bemalten Figurenin einem Jahr. Das muss sich ändern!
