Leichtmatrose und schweres Kaliber - Lightweight and heavyweight pirate

Tales from the gaming table will tell if these latest of Michi's paintjobs will team up for an adventure.

En Garde! The Guards of Richelieu

Some guards of the sinister Cardinal Richelieu.
The miniatures are from Redoubt, UK, and are 30/32mm rather than the usual 28mm.

Let it grow, let it grow, let it grow!

The field can be used for many wargaming genres as a nice addition to the scenery. The base was made of 3mm plasticard, the fence is balsa wood. The lettuce is 3D printed. The whole base is covered with fine sand and airbrushed afterwards.

The secrets of a Lady

Cardinal Richelieu, Lady De Winter and a Bard (who preferably sings ballads about Athos, Porthos and Aramis). Lady De Winter and the Bard are new additions to my 32mm musketeer miniatures. White is so ungracefully difficult to paint and shade, so I pushed Lady De Winter for a long time in front of me. But I am halfway satisfied with the result.

If I ever have enough terrain for the epoch, then I can finally try out a suitable set of rules with these beautiful miniatures. Miniatures are from Redoubt, UK. Acrylic colors used are from Game Color, Model Color and Army Painter.

En Garde!

A few years ago I ordered Musketeer miniatures from Redoubt. For a long time these figures had a sad existence in the very dusty corner of the stack of unpainted miniatures. The time had finally come to pull out a few of them and paint them.

May I introduce the brewmaiden, the traveling hawker, Comte de Rochefort and a nameless noble adventurer.
