Ai vis lo lop

"Deus lo vult!" ist wohl etwas bekannter, auch wenn es genauso altfranzösich ist wie "Ai vis lo lop", was einfach heißt "ich habe den Wolf gesehen". Und wie wir seit American Werewolf in Paris wissen, streifen die Wolfsmenschen besonders gern durch französische Gefilde. Zwar ist diese Interpretation nicht ganz die Seraphine aus eben jenem filmischen Machwerk, aber bereits Michis zweite als solche erkennbare Werwölfin für den Spieltisch und damit der insgesamt siebte Lykaner in der Vitrine.

"Deus lo vult!" is much more widely known than the also old French "Ai vis lo lop" which simply means "I have seen the wolf" and since American Werewolf in Paris we all know that those wolfmen prefer stalking French territories.Although this is a very artisticly licensed interpretation of that movies´ Seraphine, she still is Michis second recognisably female werewolf and therefore the seventh Lycan in total.

Gangster in the Alley

As an intermezzo to the upcoming new project and to paint some figures from the neverending stock of the last years only buying without painting, here's the work of a lazy sunday morning. 

I'm not sure anymore, but that gangster looks like a Copplestone miniature. Maybe one of our readers can confirm my presumption. I have four of this range and want to finish them, before the new project starts.

Scotish Warlord and 2nd Hearthguards (Saga-Tagebuch, Teil 12)

Finally the Scotish warband is ready for combat. Today the Scotish warlord and the 2nd group of hearthguards have been completed. After 11 weeks my first tabletop project after a three year break is finished. Now there are 2x 8 spearmen, 2x 4 hearthguards and 1 warlord waiting for the coming Norman invasion of the Highlands.

 

Hopefully you readers had as much fun watching the Scots grow, like I had painting the little, checkered guys.
