Deep in the Woods

To liven up the game table for “En Garde!” and “Ronin” and to be able to use the additional hunting rules, I have been painting forest animals and matching miniatures over the past few months. There will be more added in the near future.

Most of the models are from “Infernal Miniatures” from a past Kickstarter project. A few animals are from a Humble Bundle from years ago, so unfortunately I can no longer identify the designer. 

 

Gaslands: New Car Pool

Seit 2019 waren sie bereits für Gaslands umgebaut und grundiert auf dem Dachboden verloren gegangen, aber jetzt hat Michi die ersten davon bemalt.

 

Michi has painted the first batch of a number of vehicles which were converted for Gaslands in 2019 and then got lost in the attic until now.

Cold War Cubans

I was delighted to take on the painting for Miska Miniatures' latest Kickstarter project: Red Dawn Revolution. It features an interesting selection of Cuban troops from the Cold War era.

Anyone interested in this era will find that Cubans offer many exciting options for very different skirmish scenarios. After all, Cuban troops were deployed in South America, Africa, and even the Middle East.

After the infantry, I will paint a Ural truck including six passengers for the project in the coming weeks and present it here.

Saga: Fatigue - Ermüdung

Michi has finished three markers worth 2 points of fatigue each. One helmet stands for 1 point, the rest is "marker dressing". The models are metal casts by El viejo Dragon.

Michi hat drei Marker mit jeweils 2 Ermüdungspunkten gebastelt. Ein Helm steht für einen Punkt Ermüdung. Der Rest ist Dekoration.Die Figuren sind aus Zinn von El viejo Dragon.

 

Saga: Strategoi for ancient Sparta

 

 

Michi added another batch of veterans worth 1 point for ancient Saga. They will stand in for leaders of the four coming bands of warriors too. The idea is to identify the warriors by the coulours of their helmet bushes. 

Michi hat vier weitere Veteranen bemalt, die einen Punkt bei Saga wert sind. Sie können gleichzeitig als Anführer der geplanten vier Kriegergruppen dienen, deren Helmbüsche sich in den Farben unterscheiden sollen.

The miniatures were sculpted and cast by Brother Vinni. Michi doesn't like doubles too much and therefore used some green stuff to alter the proportions of one of the Spartans.

Die Figuren sind von Brother Vinni, aber weil Michi keine Dubletten mag, wurde eine mit Greenstuff ein bisschen aufgepeppt.
